The Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders baseball team defeated Mintz Christian 9-7 at home on Monday.
Mack Hunt started on the bump for CTCA, allowing two runs; Gavin Inman came in to close the game for the win. Hogan Lowe and Corey Lowery led the team offensively.
The Defenders haven’t won a game against Mintz in several years, but the losing streak ended with Monday’s victory.
CTCA is currently on a four-game winning streak in conference play.
