On Friday, a crowd gathered at Legion Park to witness around 45 Christmas trees go up in flames during the annual Christmas Tree Bonfire hosted by the City of Laurinburg Fire Department. Despite the cold, attendees enjoyed the event, and some roasted marshmallows were provided by firefighters on smaller fires.
