Although intended to be amusing, I heard a comparison on the radio which calls for serious consideration. The speaker said: “Awarding Rush Limbaugh the Presidential Medal of Freedom is the equivalent of awarding Peanuts character, Charlie Brown, induction into the National Football League Hall of Fame.”
That makes sense. After all, isn’t Donald “Lucy” Trump snatching the figurative football of civility, honesty, decency, integrity, respect, honor and most of all, maturity, from the office of Chief Executive of the United States of America?
