LAURINBURG — On Tuesday, freshman Michael McLean was awarded NCSportPage Freshman of the Year.
McLean capped his freshman season with 1,247 rushing yards, 24 rushing touchdowns, an average 103.9 yards per game, 6.6 yards per carry, 117 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.
