LAURINBURG — A call to police about loitering and possibly selling narcotics led to the arrest of four men on Monday.

The Laurinburg Police Department responded to a call at the Brothers in the Hood grocery story on Aberdeen Road. Upon arrival, the officers made contact with the suspects and pfound 7 grams of marijuana, a 32-caliber Kel-Tic pistol, and digital scales which were hidden under debris.

Kenneth Campbell, Nasir McEachin, Calvin Stewart, and Quadeer Isaac were all arrested during the drug bust.

Campbell, 21, of Marcella Street, was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, conspiracy to sell, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. He was given a $15,000 bond.

The three other men were given $5,000 bonds for varying charges.

McEachin, 19, of Gill Street, was charged with conspiracy to sell marijuana, selling and delivery of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia. Stewart, 21, of Wagram Street, and Isaac, 27, of McLaughlin Road, were both charged with conspiracy to sell and deliver marijuana.
