ASHEVILLE — St. Andrews University women’s basketball player Morgan Perkins was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
The sophomore forward recorded a double-double with a season-high 31 points and 12 rebounds in an 85-80 win over conference foe Columbia College.
Perkins also tallied 16 points in a 77-50 win against Truett-McConnell.
The Lady Knights went 2-0 last week, extending their winning streak to four games and improving their record to 4-6 overall and 4-5 in conference play.
