NEW ORLEANS – The University of North Carolina at Pembroke cross country team continued to rake in postseason hardware on Tuesday morning as four student-athletes, including Scotland grad Logan Ward, were among 400 men and women named to the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) all-region listing.

Sophomore Silus Kipkoech picked up the accolade for the second-straight year, while Joshua Chepkesir, Skylar Moreno and Ward were lauded with the honor for the first time.

The announcement marked the eighth time in the last nine years that the Braves have sent multiple student-athletes to the listing, and the fifth time UNCP has been represented by multiple honorees. Student-athletes earned the all-region distinction by finishing among the top 25 runners at one of eight regional sites over the weekend.
