LAURINBURG —The Scotland High softball team has qualified for the NCHSAA playoffs, receiving a first-round bye as the No. 8 seed. They will play in the second round on May 8 at Scotland High, with the time and opponent to be announced.
The Lady Scots concluded the season with an overall record of 13-9, finishing 6-4 in conference play. They will host a home playoff game. The Scots have a home record of 6-3.
