LAURINBURG — The Karen Gibson School of Dance will hold its 55th annual dance recital, “A Summer to Remember” at 6 p.m., Saturday, at Scotland High School.
This year’s show will bring to life some of the favorite activities of summer such as vacations to the beach, the mountains, a cruise and visits to Disney World or New York City. There will also be a July 4 celebration and a summer wedding portrayed in the recital.
Students will perform tap, ballet, lyrical, pointe, jazz and clogging routines to a variety of music.
Admission is $6 at the door.
