This recipe for basic honey lime chicken is an easy, family-friendly chicken for busy weeknights. It doesn’t take a lot of ingredients (only five) or preparation or cook time, so it can be ready in a snap. And it’s just really good.
***
Ingredients …
4 tsp. Fresh lime juice
2 tsp. Green tabasco
2 tsp. Honey
Pinch of salt and pepper
1 lb. Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
***
Directions …
In a large bowl, whisk the lime juice, tabasco, honey and salt and pepper together.
Add in the chicken and spoon the marinade over it. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, but up to overnight to really bring the flavor!
Spray your grill with a good grill spray and heat to medium heat.
Grill the chicken until no longer pink inside, about 10-12 minutes total, flipping once half way through. Then, transfer to a plate, cover and let rest for 5 minutes.
Devour with your side of choice.
Serves four.
