LAUREL HILL — Scotland County Sheriff’s Office is offering a reward for tips leading to the identity of man who tried to pass a counterfeit $100 bill.
On July 10, deputies were called to Sneads Grove Convenience Store on Sneads Grove Road concerning someone attempting to buy items with a fake bill. The man fled the store before deputies arrived.
The store’s surveillance camera captured the man’s image.
“Scotland County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division is asking for anyone who can ID this person to please contact the Scotland County Sheriff’s Office or fill out the online form at ID ThisPerson.com to receive $25,” the sheriff said in a statement.
Scotland County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help identify this man.
