Deercroft Golf Club hosted the Knights Wrestling Golf Classic Thursday in Wagram. The winning team was Steve James, Brian Howell, Brian Foshey and Noel Nowell, a group that combined to shoot a 56. The group of Curtis Leak, Charles Nichols, Darwin Williams and JD Willis also shot a 56, but James’ group won the tiebreaker.

St. Andrews University wrestling coach Joe Baranik, who hosted the event, played with John Ferguson, Jerry Davis and Patrick Walker. 56 players and 14 teams competed at the annual golf tournament, and the proceeds will go towards the St. Andrews wrestling program.
