LAURINBURG — A resident of Everett Street reported to the police department on Wednesday that unknown persons had forced entry through the rear door of the residence and stole assorted jewelry, change and $20.

LAURINBURG —A resident of Beta Street reported to the police department on Thursday that unknown persons made entry to the residence through an unsecured bathroom window and stole $200 cash.

WAGRAM — A resident of North Turnpike Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office on Thursday that two black men broke into their residence and stole $300.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Atkinson Street reported to the police department on Thursday that a TV valued at $400 was stolen after someone broke through the front door.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Graham Road reported to the Sheriff’s office on Thursday that someone had broken into the residence and stole a battery jump box and damaged a mailbox.

Larceny

WAGRAM— The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a cow and calf valued at $1,300 on Hillcreek Road from Monday. There are several persons of interest in this case.

LAURINBURG —The police responded to Storage Solution on King Street on Monday after a 54-year-old resident of Wisconsin reported that a catalytic converter off a Ford Explorer.

LAURINBURG — The Circle H reported to the police department on Tuesday that a set of jumper cables was stolen by an Indian female in a grey Toyota Corolla.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Muse Street reported to the police department Thursday that their wallet with $1,100 cash, financial cards and identity cards were stolen while on Lauchwood Drive.

Vandalism

LAUREL HILL — A report came into the Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday that a window was broken a the Laurel Hill Community Center.

GIBSON — It was reported to the Sheriff’s Office Wednesday that a vehicle that was parked on the side of Gibson Road after breaking down had had its window broken out.

Fraud

LAURINBURG — Walmart reported to the police department on Monday that three forged United States Treasury checks were cashed by three different people. There are three persons of interest and the case is under investigation.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Woodbridge Drive reported to the police department on Thursday that their identity had been used to obtain unemployment claims.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Beman Avenue reported to the police department on Thursday that unknown persons had used their identity to obtain unemployment claims.

Recovered vehicle

LAURINBURG — A 2007 Range Rover that was stolen from Cumberland County was found abandoned on Produce Market Road on Wednesday.

Shooting

LAURINBURG — A resident of Fairmont Street reported to the police department on Tuesday that someone had shot at the residence. Inside at the time were two children and two adults. No one was injured and there was an estimated $200 in damages to the residence.

Arrest

LAURINBURG — Dajohn McLean, 29, of East Church Street was arrested Tuesday for failure to appear in Scotland County for speeding and reckless driving. He was given a $100 bond.

LAURINBURG — Kyle Hyatt, 31, of Lees Mill Road was arrested Tuesday for disorderly conduct and for failure to appear in Scotland County. He was given a $2,000 bond.

LAURINBURG — Vicky McGill, 63, of Marston was arrested Monday for trespassing. She was given a $1,000 bond.
