One-Stop’s total
is now at 4,738
LAURINBURG — One-Stop Early Voting took another big leap on Tuesday when 940 registered voters cast their ballot at the Scotland County Board of Elections office in downtown Laurinburg.
According to Dell Parker, executive director of the local BOE, there have been a total of 4,738 early votes cast over the first six days of One-Stop voting.
Of those who have cast a ballot during One-Stop voting, a total of 2,764 have been Democrats; another 825 have been Republican; 1,140 have been unaffiliated; and five have been Libertarian.
Also, a total of 2,136 early voters have been black; another 2,145 have been white; 214 have been Native American — 2,684 have been female and 1,879 have been male.

Early voting is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 7:30 p.m., as well as Saturday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. and closed Sunday. During the third and final week, the hours of Monday through Friday will remain the same and Saturday will be 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Early voting is being held at 231 E. Cronly St. in the Annex conference room.
