LAURINBURG — The Laurinburg City Council will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. for its monthly meeting with a hot topic on the agenda — the city’s stormwater project.
Even before Hurricane Florence caused massive flooding in the area, countless amounts of residents came to the city council about flooding in certain parts of town. Since Florence almost every meeting has had some discussion, whether from the public or council members, about the flooding.
Back in May the City Council interviewed three different engineering companies to decide who would take on the city’s multiple stormwater project.
This month Cape Fear Engineering is bringing an update on the projects. This will come after a set delegations about the flooding on Blue Drive.
