Tabernacle United Methodist Church will hold its fourth annual Luminary Display from 6 to 8 p.m. at 18521 Hamlet Road in Ghio. Open communion and refreshments will be served.
First Baptist Church Carolina Park family will celebrate its 20th pastoral anniversary with the Rev. Robert L. Williams and First Lady Lady Williams starting with Sunday school at 10 a.m., followed by the worship service at 11 a.m. with guest speaker Rev. James Clark and the 3 p.m. service with Pastor Harold Livingston as the guest speaker. All are welcome.
Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, located at 501 Johns Road in Laurinburg, will celebrate Women’s Day. At 11 a.m., the morning message will be delivered by Minister Michelle Ellerbe Williams, associate minister and youth minister for First Baptist Church in Hamlet. at 4 p.m., the annual Candlelight March will be held, with the Rev. Deidre McBride, pastor of Fletcher Grove Missionary Baptist Church, serving as the guest pastor. All are invited.

Dothan Presbyterian Church will hold its annual Christmas Candlelight Service at 3 p.m. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Garland Pierce, pastor of Bright Hopewell Church. The church is located at 501 E. Martin Luther Kin Jr. Drive in Maxton.

Multitudes Church, located at 15301 Jim Calhoun Road in Laurinburg, will host a free outdoor Christmas event for the family, starting at 5:15 p.m. each day with the pre-show, including free hot chocolate and goodies, with the drama starting at 6:30 p.m. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the experience.

First United Methodist Church, located at 101 W. Main St. in Laurinburg, will host its Centennial Celebration of the Sanctuary (built in 1918) at 10 a.m. The congregation will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the building with a combined worship service — the Bishop of the Eastern Conference of the North Carolina Methodist Church, Hope Morgan Ward,will preach at this worship service. All are invited.
