Break-in
LAURINBURG — A resident of Ashley Drive reported to the police department Tuesday that unknown persons entered the residence and took a 20-inch TV, a walker, two Bluetooth speakers, and a child’s playpen totaling $290.
LAURINBURG — A resident of Elmore Road reported to the sheriff’s office Tuesday that someone had entered the residence by kicking down the door. There was $350 of damage to the door and frame, but nothing was reported missing.
LAURINBURG — Eastside Emmanuel Holiness Church on Kiser Road reported to the sheriff’s office Tuesday that several items were missing from the building. Items missing include a zero-turn lawnmower, a straight shaft trimmer, and hedge trimmers totaling $3,073. The lawnmower was later recovered. The church reported to the Laurinburg Police Department Sunday that someone had broken a window but nothing was missing.
Larceny
LAURINBURG — A resident of Hasty Road reported to the sheriff’s office Tuesday that someone had stolen her vehicle.
LAURINBURG — A resident of Crestline Road reported to the sheriff’s office Tuesday that unknown persons had stolen a Glock handgun valued at $450 out of his vehicle.
MARSTON — A resident of Sandridge Drive reported to the sheriff’s office Tuesday that someone had removed several items from the victims residence, including an X-Box and assorted DVDs totalling $550.
Arrests
LAURINBURG — Christopher Clemon Bridges, 30, of McGirts Bridge Road was given a criminal summons on Tuesday for communicating threats.
LAURINBURG — Keayre Ayinde Allen, 21, of Woodberry Circle, Raeford, was arrested Wednesday for a failure to appear in court. He was given a $200 bond.
