LAURINBYRG – Scotland County Board of Commissioners Chairman Whit Gibson announced Tuesday that North Carolina Organics Recycling has chosen Scotland County as its first facility in North Carolina.

“American Complete Organics Recycling’s commitment to invest $6MM over 5 years and the hiring of 43 fulltime jobs demonstrates Scotland County’s commitment to attract jobs for our citizens,” he said.

Guy McCook, chairman of Southeastern Regional Airport Authority stated, “The Airport Authority welcomes North Carolina Organics Recycling to our industrial park. Their decision to locate here is a testament that the Authority’s focus is to be a partner with not only Scotland County, but with current and future industries.”
