LAURINBURG —Brandon McDonald of Clarkton in Bladen County is missing and, according to family members, his phone was last pinged in the Laurinburg area.
“We don’t know the exact location in Laurinburg,” said his cousin Brooke Britt, “it just showed Laurinburg.”
If anyone has seen McDonald, they are asked to contact local law enforcement or call Matt Hester with the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office at 910-862-6960. Tips can be made anonymously. His family is also asking to be contacted with any helpful information. His mother, Dena Cox, can be contacted at 910-640-9877. His father, Jeffery McDonald, can be reached at 910-645-6818, or information can be sent to Carol Britt via text or by calling 910-874-0043.
“His truck was found wrecked and abandoned in Hope Mills,” said Britt. “Someone knows something and just aren’t speaking up.
“He would never let his daddy worry like this,” added Britt, “he would either call or come home. This isn’t something he would do to his family. So, please, if you know anything please let us know.”
McDonald is 35 years old and has blue eyes. He has tattoos on each arm, is 189 lbs and is 5’9.
“He has earrings in both ears,” said Britt. “He could possibly be wearing a camouflage shirt, black/blue work pants and a dark hat.”
McDonald has not been seen and has not contacted anyone since Thursday.
“Help us bring him home safe,” said Britt.
