LAURINBURG — After more than six years as superintendent of Scotland County Schools, Ron Hargrave submitted his resignation to the Board of Education during an executive session of the Board of Education’s monthly meeting on Monday.
The board voted unanimously to accept the resignation. Hargrave will serve through Oct. 1.
