LAURINBURG — Those looking for good music and fun have to look no further than downtown Laurinburg on Friday.
The second Hasty Realty Laurinburg After Five is set to kick off at 6 p.m. at McDuffie Square featuring the Tru Sol. Friday night event will also be the first standalone Laurinburg After Five of the year as last month’s Too Much Sylvia during the Suds and Swine BBQ Festival
This is the second time Tru Sol has performed for a Laurinburg After Five.
“I have been excited about this Hasty Realty Laurinburg After Five since last August when Tru Sol put on an energy-packed show that kept the crowd on their feet all night,” said Laurinburg-Scotland County Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Chris English. “Tru Sol is a fun band that plays music that makes you want to get up and move a little bit or a lot.”
There are five more concerts after this one including Chris Taylor and the Rumor on June 7, the Band of Oz on July 12, Liquid Pleasure on Aug. 9, Ryan Perry on Sept. 12, and closing out the concert series will be Uptown L.A. Brown on Oct. 18.
