LAURINBURG — Scotia Village and The Presbyterian Homes Foundation, Inc. recently announced the 2021 recipients of The Andrew Grey Williamson Employee Scholarship.
Recipients include the following employees of Scotia Village: Kasey Brewington, Margo Mathis, and Jessica McColl.
“I am so happy that this scholarship was established and is available to our team members,” said Allen Johnson, executive director of Scotia Village. “Education is the cornerstone of a better tomorrow not just for the individual but also for the society as a whole. This year’s winners are more than deserving and I am proud of each of them.”
The Andrew Grey Williamson Employee Scholarship is a permanent endowment that honors the memory of Mr. Williamson who was one of the original members of the Scotia Village Board of Trustees. It provides educational opportunities for employees of Scotia Village. The Andrew Grey Williamson Employee Scholarship is administered by The Presbyterian Homes Foundation, Inc.
