LAURINBURG — Scotland Memorial Library will have its second annual community day from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday.
The event will feature numerous organizations which will highlight life in Scotland County, including:
— 4H
— Scotland County Sheriff’s Office
— Scotland County Historical Association
— Laurinburg Police and Fire departments
— Richmond Community College
— Scotland County Parks and Recreation
— Partners in Ministry
— City of Laurinburg Water and Water Treatment
Exhibits and activities include:
— Beekeeping
— Yarn spinning
— Radio-controlled aircraft
— Corn hole
All exhibits and activities are free; hot dogs, hamburgers, cotton candy, candied apples and drinks will be available for purchase.
