FOXFIRE — The Scotland men’s golf team faced off against the six other Sandhills Athletic Conference teams at Foxfire Resort and Golf Monday afternoon.
The Scots finished with a total score of 205; good enough to tie for sixth place with Hoke County.
Only four golfers were available for the Scots at the meet. Jarrod Pittman had a team-high score of 46, two strokes better than his score from last week’s meet.
Luke Seate finished with a score of 49, five strokes better than last week, while Jack Herr had a 53, six strokes improved from last week.
Bobby Cox closed things out with a 57, which was eight strokes greater than his final tally from last week.
Head coach David Synan said his team “showed signs of improvement and look forward to working hard.”
The Scots’ next meet will be on March 30 at 3 p.m. from Sanford Golf Course.
