Girls’ soccer works on conditioning

Scotland High School girls’ soccer continued workouts Monday evening at the team’s field behind the school. Head coach Blake Dickerson, who also coaches the boys’ soccer team, holds workouts for both squads Mondays and Thursdays, with the boys going 3:30-4:30 p.m. and the girls going 4:45-5:45 p.m. Dickerson said both teams alternate workout time slots each week. On Monday, the girls’ team worked mainly on running drills and had a shots-on-goal drill near the end of the workout. The Fighting Scots open their season March 15 at home against Jack Britt.
