The Knights had five more kills than the Cavaliers (49-44), and tallied eight total aces and 63 digs.

The loss dropped Montreat to 3-18 and 2-5 in the AAC.

St. Andrews followed that win with another victory, this time at the expense of the University of Pikeville. The Knights easily dispatched the Bears in three sets, winning 25-18, 25-16, 25-23 to improve to 8-6 overall this season.
