SOUTHERN PINES — The Scotland wrestling team competed at the Mason Wagner Duals at Pinecrest on Saturday.
The Fighting Scots competed against Central Academy of Technology and Arts, Piedmont, Pinecrest and Chapel Hill. Official results from Scotland’s dual with Pinecrest were not posted as of Monday.
Central Academy of Technology and Arts defeated Scotland 75-6. In the 220-pound class, Scotland’s Michael Locklear defeated Sam Dean by fall to earn his team’s only points of the dual.
Piedmont defeated Scotland 72-12. Jacquez Henderson of Scotland defeated Henry Mercado in the 160-pound division to earn six points for the Scots.
Scotland fell to Chapel Hill 69-12. In the 285-pound division, Scotland’s Nathaniel Harrington defeated Dominique Patridge by fall.
