America became the greatest economic power in world history due to one major factor: slave labor. When legal slavery was abolished, privileged Americans increased their tremendous wealth with redefined “Jim Crow” slave labor.

When the Civil Rights movement led to at least survival, called minimum wages, privileged American manufacturers exported their manufacturing facilities to third-world sweat-shops, and imported illegals who worked for pennies-on-the-dollar.

Today, all Americans face a health and economic dilemma because wealthy manufacturers, who could have easily paid American workers a living wage, chose to pay sweat-shop slaves minuscule wages in third-world countries. Free trade?

Was American prosperity “freely traded” for excessive wealth for the privileged, and deadly disease for all due to globalization?
