Break in

LAUREL HILL – A resident of Yarborough Lane reported to the sheriff’s office that someone broke into the home and stole a 32-inch television and assorted jewelry valued at $1900.

LAURINBURG – A resident of Cliffdale Drive reported to police that someone broke into a property located on Hickory Street damaging two windows. Nothing has been reported missing at this time.

LAURINBURG – Captain D’s Seafood located in Holly Square reported to police that someone attempted to break into the business by prying open a door leaving $500 in damages.

Larceny

LAURINBURG – Lowe’s Home Improvement located on U.S. 401 reported to police that a white male between the ages of 25 and 30, with dark hair and a mustache entered the store and stole two DEWalt drills valued at $480.

LAURINBURG – A resident of Shaw Drive reported to police that someone entered the property and stole a blue, 2007 BMW 530 XL valued at $9,500.

LAURINBURG – A resident of Woodburn Road reported to police that someone broke into the backyard of the property leaving $200 in damages and stealing a tent valued at $150.

LAURINBURG – A resident of Ashley Drive reported to police that someone stole a handgun valued at $400 from the residence.

LAURINBURG – A resident of Park Circle reported to police that someone stole a pump shotgun valued at $350 from the residence.

LAURINBURG – A resident of Carver Street reported to police that someone stole a bicycle valued at $250 from the property.

Vandalism

LAURINBURG – A resident of Gamble Street reported to police that someone broke a window on his apartment and broke the windshield out of his 2000 Dodge truck.

LAURINBURG – A resident of Laurinburg reported to police that someone damaged her 2003 Cadillac. The victim found a puncture in the car’s body while it was parked at Brothers in the Hood Market on Aberdeen Road.

Staff report
