LAURINBURG — David Lynn Hammonds, 23, of Laurinburg, was charged with assault by pointing a gun and communicating threats on Thursday, police said. He was given no bond.

Thefts

LAURINBURG — A resident of Southwood Drive reported a cabinet and four flat-screen televisions stolen on Friday, after someone gained entry to the residence by breaking the dining room window, police said. The stolen items were valued at $1,250.

LAURINBURG — An employee of Domino’s Pizza was robbed by someone wearing a green and black mask on Saturday, police said. Along with $1,900, the vehicle belonging to the employee was also stolen, but it was later found by police.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Laurel Hill reported a $300 money order was stolen from his vehicle after he took it to B & B Radiator in Laurinburg to get worked on, police said.

Assault

LAURINBURG — A resident of Fairly Street reported he was stuck in the head with a gun, police said. There is a person of interest in the case.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Laurinburg reported he was assaulted by a man who punched him in the face that resulted in a broken jaw, police said.
