Break-in

WAGRAM — A resident of Hillcreek Road reported to the sheriff’s office on Sunday that unknown persons had stolen a .45 caliber handgun and a rail light totaling $793 from their vehicle.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Lees Mill Road reported to the sheriff’s office on Monday that someone had kicked in the door to the residence and stole medications. The medications included a 42-count of oxycodeine and a 30-count of augmentin.

Larceny

WAGRAM — Mabus Farm and General Contracting reported to the sheriff’s office on Nov. 8 that unknown persons had stolen seven single pane windows, 32 two by 10 wooden boards, two residential doors and a double pane window totaling $3,428 from the construction site on North Turnpike Road.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Havelock Drive reported to the sheriff’s office on Monday that someone had removed $500 from the residence.

LAURINBURG — Milam who has a construction site on Old Wire Road reported to the sheriff’s office Monday that unknown persons had stolen a Bobcat Skid Steer from the site valued at $35,000.

LAURINBURG — Super Sod located on Old Lumberton Road reported to the sheriff’s office Tuesday that someone had caused $550 damage to equipment and stole copper wire.

LAURINBURG — A resident of East Covington Street reported to the police department Wednesday that she had packages stolen off of her front porch valued at $118.

Vandalism

GIBSON— Gibson United Methodist Church on McLaurin Street reported to the sheriff’s office on Tuesday that unknown persons had broken a window at the church, causing $100 damage.

Communicating threats

LAURINBURG — Police responded to Ashley Drive on Thursday after a 911 hang-up. Upon arrival officers spoke with the caller who told them her 17-year-old son had punched a hole in the wall and broke the TV. Officers attempted to speak with him but he began threatening all the officers on the scene.

He was arrested and given a $5,000 bond.

Arrests

LAURINBURG — Robert Edwards, 36, of Cedar Drive was arrested Wednesday and charged with possession of marijuana, failure to stop for blue lights, fictitious plates and driving while license revoked. He was given a $3,000 bond.

LAURINBURG — Kwasi Green, 40, of Purcell Road was arrested Wednesday and charged with possession of schedule II substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

LAURINBURG — Rhona Guinn, 48, of Turnpike Road was arrested Thursday for several failure to appear warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of Schedule VI substance, simple possession of marijuana and a misdemeanor probation violation. She was given a $12,200 bond.
