LAURINBURG — Patrick Salmon, 23, of 1292 E. Hampton Street, Dillon, S.C., was arrested on Thursday afternoon for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule four controlled substance and disorderly conduct according to a police report. Salmon was placed under a $1,500 secure bond.
Theft
LAURINBURG — A resident of the 400 block on Maple Street reported on Thursday that prescription medication had been stolen, according to a police report. The resident said two bottles of medication were taken from a 2005 Chevrolet truck on Monday. The total value was $80.
Vandalism
LAURINBURG — A resident of the 1,000 block on McGirts Bridge Road reported on Wednesday that a home had been vandalized, according to a police report. The resident found a vinyl screen had been spray painted with the word, “blood”, A window frame and screen were also damaged. The total damage was estimated at $160.
