Goodwill store
coming to town
ROCKINGHAM — A Goodwill is slated to take over the former Lidl building on U.S. 74 in Rockingham, which has been vacant for over two years.
Boos Development Group, which is based out of Clearwater, Florida, finalized the purchase of the building on Jan. 19. It is expected to be open by early summer.
This new location, across from the Rockingham Walmart and Smithfield’s, will be larger than Goodwill’s typical buildings. Along with their traditional Goodwill store, there will be The GRID, a discount electronic store that sells anything related to computers, technology and gaming.
