Break-in

LAURINBURG — A resident of South Pine Street reported to the police department on Tuesday that unknown persons had forced entry through a rear window and stole a PlayStation 4 and a computer valued at $370.

LAURINBURG — A resident of McRae Street reported to the police department on Tuesday that someone had broken into their vehicle and stole a Smith and Wesson 9mm pistol valued at $375. The vehicle had been left unsecured.

Larceny

LAURINBURG —Several businesses on South Main Street reported to the police department on Tuesday that unknown persons had stolen items and vandalized the property. McNair Shoe Repair and Angela’s Beauty Salon reported that customer parking signs in the rear of the businesses were taken while Scissors Palace reported graffiti on its door and Jin Jins had graffiti on the roof.

Arrest

LAURINBURG — Tiasia Morman, 25, of Maxton was arrested Tuesday for injury to personal property trespassing and larceny warrants. She was released on a written promise to appear.
