LAURINBURG — The Scotland High baseball team has advanced to the second round of the playoffs after defeating Asheboro. They won against the Asheboro Blue Comets on Tuesday, with a score of 12-8, in the first round. Now, they will travel to face the No. 1-seeded Alexander Central Cougars on the road this Friday, entering the matchup as the No. 16 seed.
