Break-in

LAURINBURG — A resident of Pinewood Drive reported to the police department on Friday that unknown persons broken into their motor vehicle and stole a wallet, purse, identifications along with debit and credit cards. There were no signs of forced entry.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Wilmington Street reported to the police department on Friday that someone had broken into their vehicle and stole the owners manual and the registration. The vehicle had been left unsecured.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Charlotte Street reported to the police department on Friday unknown persons tried to break into the residence and damaged a door frame.

LAURINBURG — A resident of North Main Street reported to the police department on Friday that someone broke into their vehicle and stole a 9mm pistol totaling $550.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Plaza Road reported to the police department on Saturday that unknown persons broke into their unsecured vehicle. Nothing was reported missing.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Sanford Road reported to the police department on Sunday that someone had forced entry into their vehicle and stole fishing gear, rifle and floor jack totaling $800.

Arrest

LAURINBURG — Dometrice Ellison, 24, of Kennedy Street was arrested Friday for larceny. He was given a $4,000 bond.

LAURINBURG — Taurus Flowers, 42, of Roosevelt Street was arrested Friday for breaking and entering with intent to terrorize and sexual battery. He was given a $50,000 bond.

LAURINBURG — Jarril Benford, 24, of Bennettsville, South Carolina, was arrested Saturday for three failure to appear warrants. He was given a $5,000 bond.

LAURINBURG — Justin Davis, 33, of Bizzell Street was arrested Sunday for trespassing and assault. He was given a $100 bond.
