Break-in

LAURINBURG — Integrated Behavioral Health on South Main Street reported to the police department on Saturday that someone had broken in and stolen a computer, DVD player, radio, toilet paper, paper towels and DVDs.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Gill Street reported to the police department on Sunday that unknown persons had broken into his 1986 Chevrolet truck and took a socket set valued at $20.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Ashley Drive reported to the police department on Monday that someone entered her apartment and stole $25. There is a person of interest.

Larceny

LAURINBURG — Huddle House on U.S. 401 reported to the police department on Saturday that an employee had been taking money from the cash register for their own personal use. It is unknown how much has been taken and police are investigating.

LAURINBURG — A resident of South Pine Village Drive reported to the police department on Sunday that a pair of AirPods valued at $200 had been taken from them.

Fraud

LAURINBURG — A Mount Airy construction company reported to the police department on Friday that an ex-employee had used the company card at O’Reilly’s for his own personal items totaling $762.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Laurinburg reported to the police department on Saturday that unknown persons had used their information to open an American Express account.

Arrest

LAURINBURG —Doquan Matthews, 29, of Craig Lane was arrested Friday for assault on a female, injury to personal property and communicating threats warrants. He wasn’t given a bond.

LAURINBURG — Dwayne Livingston, 50, of Hasty Road was arrested Friday for fugitive warrants for rape of a child, indecent liberties with a child and first degree sex offense with a child. He was given a $500,000 bond.

LAURINBURG — Christopher Simmons, 54, of Biggs Street was arrested Friday for failure to appear, larceny and trespassing. He was given a $1,600 bond.

LAURINBURG — William Owen, 29, of Maxton was arrested Sunday for a fugitive injustice warrant out of Fort Mill, South Carolina, for failure to return rental property. He was given a $25,000 bond.

LAURINBURG — Craig McNeill, 22, of Wagram Street was arrested Sunday for assault on a female. He wasn’t given a bond.

LAURINBURG — Antonio Evans, 25, of McNeill Drive was arrested Sunday for failure to appear out of Mecklenburg County. He was given a $1,000 bond.
