Hundreds of North Carolinians took part in the 2020 Penguin Plunge into the Atlantic Ocean on Wednesday in Atlantic Beach. The annual event, held at Alfred B. Cooper Memorial Park, raises money for a local charity. This year, the benefactor was The Salvation Army of Carteret County.
