Scotland County was in the cross-hairs of a strong storm on Saturday. Here, the leading edge of the storm — the shelf cloud — entered Scotland County and moved across the Scotland High School campus. According to Accuweather, there is no rain expected in the region for the next eight days, and temperatures are expected to be in the mid-90s with heat indexes reaching 100 degree or more.
