County Crime Report: Sept. 1

LARCENY

LAURINBURG — A person reported to police that an unknown Black female came into the Speedway on South Main Street. took bottles of alcohol and left without paying.

GIBSON — A person reported to the Scotland County Sheriff’s Office that person stole a Dodge Nitro on Francis Road on Wednesday.

LAUREL HILL — Someone reported to the Scotland County Sheriff’s Office that horse reins, 14 bells of hay, a grease gun and a horse halter were stolen from a property on Old Wire Road.

WAGRAM — Someone reported to the Scotland County Sheriff’s Office that someone attempted to steal a 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix, but the vehicle got stuck in a ditch.

LAURINBURG —A 2015 GMC Terrain was reported to the Scotland County Sheriff’s Office stolen on Main Street.

LAURINBURG —Someone reported Saturday that a .45 firearm was stolen at Meritor.

LAURINBURG — A 9mm handgun was reported stolen Sept. 25 on Crestline Road.

BREAK-IN

LAURINBURG — A person reported to the Scotland County Sheriff’s Office that someone broke into their vehicle at Meritor and stole a 13 mm handgun and two boxes of ammunition on Wednesday.

LAURINBURG — A person reported to the Scotland County Sheriff’s Office that a breaking and entering had occurred Saturday at Meritor.

WAGRAM — Someone reported to the Scotland County Sheriff’s Office that a break-in had occurred on Bridle Path Drive. Items reported stolen included three flat-screen televisions, an air conditioning unit, clothes and a push mower.

LAURINBURG — Someone reported to the Scotland County Sheriff’s Office that a break-in had occurred at Cyber Jolt on McColl Road. During the break-in, a Glock 30 handgun and a bag of assorted items were taken.

ROBBERY

LAUREL HILL — An armed robbery was reported to have occurred Saturday at an internet cafe. Stolen where $2,800 and a Smith and Wesson gun.
