LAURINBURG — Scotland High School’s Class of 2015 graduation will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Below are some details to help you prepare for and navigate the ceremony.

When and where:

— Gates at Pate Stadium will open at 7:30 a.m.

— Guests should be seated by 8:45 a.m. as entry to the stadium will be closed once graduates enter the field.

— Graduates should report to the first floor of Scotland High School’s building one by 7:45 a.m.

Tickets:

— Graduates will receive their tickets during Friday’s required graduation practice. Each graduate will receive 12 tickets to the ceremony. Any guest over the age of 2 must have a ticket.

Seating:

— Young children who do not require a ticket should be prepared to sit on an adult’s lap for the duration of the ceremony.

— Those requiring handicapped seating on the Pate Stadium field should request accommodation by today at the Scotland High School main office.

What’s not allowed:

— Graduates should not bring phones or valuables into building one for safekeeping, as doors will be locked after they leave for Pate Stadium. Graduates will be required to pass through security and any items brought into the building with the purpose of disrupting graduation, such as noise makers, beach balls and silly string, will be confiscated.

— Graduates will be required to follow school dress code; male students are required to have on long pants. No tennis shoes should be worn and spiked heels and platform shoes are discouraged.

Weather provisions:

— In the event of inclement weather, graduation will be held in the new gymnasium, and four of each graduate’s tickets will be good for entry into the gym. Four tickets will gain entry to the auditorium for live streaming.
