Break-in

LAURINBURG — A resident of Lees Mill Road reported to the sheriff’s office Tuesday that unknown persons broke into the residence and stole a refrigerator and stove totaling $1,300.

Larceny

LAURINBURG — The sheriff’s office got a report on Tuesday that a phone was stolen from Breeden’s Store on Aberdeen Road.

LAURINBURG — A resident of East Vance street reported to the police department on Wednesday that he had come home from work and found three bicycles missing. The victim told police the three bicycles were chained on the back porch and the chain had been cut. The bikes totaled $180.

Vandalism

LAURINBURG — A resident of Biggs Street reported to the police department on Tuesday that someone had broken the rear window of their car. The damage was around $600 and nothing was reported missing from the vehicle.

Arson

LAURINBURG — A resident of Old Track Road reported to the sheriff’s office Tuesday that someone had set his car on fire.

Arrests

LAURINBURG — Robert Love, 47, of Butler Street had a warrant placed out for his arrest on Tuesday. The warrant is for misdemeanor simple physical assault on an officer, resisting arrest and trespassing.

LAURINBURG — Jason Birchfield, 35, of Launcblue Road, Laurel Hill, had a warrant placed out for his arrest on Tuesday. The warrant was for misdemeanor stalking.

MAXTON— Conley Geronimo Jacobs III, 46, of Jacobs Road was arrested Tuesday for a warrant for motor vehicle theft. He was given a $20,000 bond.

LAURINBURG — Chad Ellison Bailey, 38, of McKay Street, Wagram, had a warrant placed out for his arrest on Tuesday for misdemeanor assault on a female and aggravated assault.

LAURINBURG — Joseph Aaron Spaulding, 33, of Mary Anne Lane was arrested Wednesday for assault on a female. He wasn’t given a bond.
