Break-in

LAURINBURG — Pleasant View Church on Old Lumberton Road reported to police on Monday that unknown persons had pried open the door to the dining area causing $125 of damage to the door, frame, and lock systems. The suspect stole soda, coffee, and creamer valued at $25 from inside the dining area.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Harrison Street reported to police Monday that someone had broken the passenger window of her car and stolen several items. The victims told police that she walked out to her car and realized the window was broken, contents of the console were strown throughout the car, and her purse along with three Social Security cards and $4 cash were gone.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Douglas Street reported to police Monday that unknown persons had broken the back window of his vehicle. There was $100 worth of damage done but nothing was reported missing.

Larceny

LAURINBURG — The Nic’s Pic Kwik No. 9 on McColl Road reported to police Monday that a man had stolen several cases of beer from the store. The employee told police an Asian male around 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 190 pounds walked into the store and picked up five 24-packs of Bud Light. The man then walked out of the store and got into a black color vehicle that a woman was driving. The car then headed south.

Vandalism

LAURINBURG — The Kangaroo on South Main Street reported to police Tuesday that a soap dispenser was broken. The employee said that a white male went into the men’s restroom and she heard a loud noise like he was punching something. The man then left and the employee saw the soap dispenser was broken.

Arrests

LAURINBURG — Maurice Bostic, 21, of Fairmont Street had an order for arrest. His charges include injury to real property and assault on a female.
