LAURINBURG — A Scotland County man was arrested Tuesday in reference to a financial card theft from June.
The Laurinburg Police Department made the arrest in reference of a report made back on June 18. The report to police stated that a resident of Second Street in Laurinburg had a debit card stolen from her purse and had been used for $260 worth of purchases at T-Mobile.
Arrested was Eric McPherson, 37, also of Second Street, who was charged with two counts of identity theft, two counts of obtaining property by false pretenses, and one count of financial card theft.
He was given a $10,000 bond.
