Break-in

LAURINBURG — A resident of Creedle Street reported to police on Monday that her car was broken into on North Main Street. A wallet, several credit cards, and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken out of the vehicle. There was no damage to the car.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Old Lumberton Road reported to police on Monday that someone had broken into his residence. He told police that when he returned home he noticed damage to the backdoor. Unknown persons took three televisons, a gold watch, a laptop, and an assortment of clothing valuing $4,475 and causing $200 of damage to the door.

LAURINBURG —Officers responded to an alarm at Laurinburg Auto Sales on Monday. Upon arrival officers discovered a window air conditioning unit was pushed in and a printer inside was also damaged, totalling $525 in damages. Nothing was reported missing.

Vandalism

LAURINBURG — Hoffman Auto Rentals reported to police on Monday that the handle of a vehicle was broken off valued at $50.

Arrests

LAURINBURG — Gerald Monley, 26, of Elliot Drive was arrested Monday during a traffic stop. He had was served with warrants for simple assault and vandalism. He was given no bond.
