LAURINBURG – Morris Funeral Home on McKay Street reported to police on Monday that someone broke in and stole a 55-inch television valued at $300.
LAURINBURG – A resident of Carver Street reported to police on Monday that someone broke into her apartment, rummaged through her belongings, and left $120 in damages the screen door and inner door. She was unable to say whether anything had been stolen due to the condition of the apartment.
LAUREL HILL – A resident of Lennon Drive reported to the sheriff’s office on Monday that someone broke into the home and stole a 50-inch television, CD/DVD burner, air conditioning window unit, coffee maker, a 24-inch television, and a computer monitor total value $1,270.
Larceny
LAURINBURG – CrossPoint on South Wilkinson Drive reported to police on Monday that someone stole four fuses valued at $20.
LAUREL HILL – A resident of Sneads Grove Road reported to the sheriff’s office on Monday that someone stole a utility trailer valued at $800 from the front yard.
Arrests
LAURINBURG – Scottie Dimery, 20, of Laurinburg, was arrested for larceny at Walmart and simple assault, according to police. No bond information was available.
LAUREL HILL – Michael Desmond, Sr., 52, of Church Street in Red Springs was arrested on one misdemeanor count of trespassing and given a $300 secured bond, according to the sheriff’s office.
