Break in
LAURINBURG – Jones Chapel Church on Johns Road reported to the sheriff’s office on Monday that someone broke into a storage building leaving $30 damages to the door. Nothing was reported missing.
LAUREL HILL – A resident of Rockingham Road reported to the sheriff’s office on Friday that someone broke into a home on Jessie Smith Road and stole a tank, vent cover, door, shelf and windows totaling $1,600.
LAUREL HILL – A resident of Preston Street reported to the sheriff’s office on Sunday that someone broke into a storage building and stole a case of beer, gas powered hedge clippers, a weed eater, and a chainsaw total value $1,300.
Arrests
LAURINBURG – Khalil Jacobs, 37, an inmate at Scotland County Detention center has been charged with assaulting an officer.
LAUREL HILL –Donald Chad Pate was arrested on one count of felony breaking and entering and one count of felony larceny and given a $20,000 secured bond, according to the sheriff’s office.
LAUREL HILL – Adrian Rogers Teal, 32, of Bennettsville, South Carolina was arrested on one count of possession of a firearm by a felon and carrying a concealed firearm. No bond information was available.
GIBSON – Timothy Scott Brigman was arrested on one count failure to heed lights and siren and one count of DWI and given a $4,500 secured bond, according to the sheriff’s office.
LAURINBURG – Duwonja M Austin, 18, of Lilesville, was arrested on one felony count of possession with intent to sell and deliver, one misdemeanor count of possession of a schedule II drug and resisting a public officer and given a $5,000 secured bond, according to the sheriff’s office.
