Scotland High School senior Nicolas Ring was presented the Chuck Sligh Award for his dedication to the Special Olympics by Julian Butler on Tuesday before the start of this year’s Scotland County Special Olympics at Pate Stadium.

Spring Hill Middle School students were part of the Parade of Athletes before the start of Tuesday’s Scotland County Special Olympics at Pate Stadium. Students from both county middle school’s, all seven elementary schools and Scotland High School took part in the event.
