LEXINGTON, S.C. — Dr. and Mrs. Gregory James Konduros of Lexington, S.C. have announced the engagement of their daughter Ann Malek Konduros, of Lexington, to James Ira Wooten III, of Chapin, S.C.

James is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Ira Wooten Jr., of Laurinburg

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Samuel Konduros, of Columbia, S.C.; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Louis Jodie, of Lexington; Ms. Conalee Malek Gosnell, of Spartanburg, S.C.; and the late Mr. Otis Bodie Rawl, of Lexington.

Ann is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where she earned her bachelor’s degree in mass communications and broadcast journalism. She is currently employed at Stewart Konduros & Associates LLC consulting in Lexington.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Irby Brown, of Belvedere, S.C. and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Ira Wooten Sr., of Chester S.C.

James is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where he earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology. He is currently employed with Arthrex Inc. in Naples, Fla.

The couple plans a July wedding in Charleston.
