Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 at the Aberdeen First Baptist Church with the Rev. Brad Russell and Mike Branscome officiating. Burial will follow at Bethesda Cemetery.
Mrs. Russell was a longtime active member of Aberdeen First Baptist Church. She retired as the cafeteria manager of the Aberdeen school. She was preceded in death by her husband Herman N. Russell, her brother Carlton Wright, and her son and daughter-in-law Herman W. Russell and Joye Crissman Russell.
She is survived by her son Jerry Norman Russell and his wife Darla of Rockingham, sister Hazel Blanche Mills of Laurinburg, seven grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at Boles Funeral Home of Pinehurst, 35 Parker Lane, Pinehurst, NC 28374.
